Product Description

What is 410 stainless steel coil?
Stainless steel coils 410 are the most common martensitic stainless materials. They provide good corrosion resistance, high strength, and hardness. The stainless steel coil 410 has a minimum 11.5% of chromium, which is sufficient to show corrosion resistance in mild environments, such as steam and mild chemicals. This is a general-purpose grade, which is usually supplied in a hardened condition but is still machineable for applications that require high strength with moderate heat resistance and corrosion resistance. The stainless steel coil 410 is most corrosion resistant after it has been hardened, temper and polished.

Description	The austenitic type 410 stainless steel has a nominal composition consisting of 17 percent chrome and 7 percent nickel. It is characterized by good strength and ductility, and excellent corrosion resistance. The 410 stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance. Precision Steel stocks 410 stainless in 1/4 hard, 1/2 Hard, 3/4 Hard, full Hard, and extra-hard tempera.

Laser Cutting - It is expensive and necessary for precision engineered components. If the customer agrees, we can invoice stainless steel coils and charge separately laser cutting.
